Honorable Secretary of Agriculture Co-operation Dr. R.C.A Jain, IAS visits NMCE today.  On this occasion Shri Jain expressed his contentment towards the demutualised setup of NMCE which has provided highly-transparent online trading platform for the very first time in India.

He also articulated that this common platform would once again consolidate the agriculture sector of India to become competitive which has been fragmented since long.

He appreciated NMCE’s initiative to start futures trading in Wheat and Rice very soon and congratulated the team of NMCE on successfully carrying on futures trading in all 49 commodities including Gold and Silver for about a year now.
